Bio
I caught the acting bug when, at nine years old, I played Thomas O'Malley in Aristocats. I fell in love with the entire process: from costumes, long rehearsals and the hard work culminating on stage in front of an audience, not just playing a role, but becoming a strutting, cocky, alley cat!
Fast forward to 18 years old. I have since been in 9 musicals and the passion is as strong as ever. Music theater has been an incredible launching pad; I'm lucky to live in a community where it is appreciated and where it flourishes. From this start, I have discovered an even stronger interest in pursuing film. I will always work on honing my singing and tapping skills, but am currently focusing my efforts on becoming an actor. In the classes I've been taking, I've been struck by how challenging it is to embody a character. A good actor makes it look so easy, and my goal is to do just that. I understand it's a competitive industry, and it requires hard work, patience and resilience, and I'm willing to take the risk. Life is short, so I might as well go for it!
